Our Principles
1. सब सत्य विद्या और जो पदार्थ विद्या से जाने जाते हैं, उन सबका आदि मूल परमेश्वर है ।
1. Ishvara (God) is the efficient cause of all the knowledge and that is known through knowledge.
2. ईश्वर सच्चि दानन्द स्वरूप, निराकार, सर्वशक्ति मान, न्याायकारी, दयालु, अजन्माा, अनन्त, निर्विकार, अनादि, अनुपम, सर्वाधार, सर्वेश्वर, सर्व्याा पक, सर्वान्तर्यामी, अजर, अमर, अभय, नित्य, पवित्र और ष्टिकर्ता है । उसी की उपासना करनी योग्य है ।
2. Ishvara (God) existent, intelligent and blissful. He is formless, omniscient, just, merciful, unborn, endless, unchangeable, beginningless, unequalled, the support of all, the master of all, omnipresent, immanent, unageing, immortal, fearless, eternal, holy and the master of all. He alone is worthy of being worshipped.
3. वेद सब सत्य विद्याओं का पुस्तक है । वेद का पढ़ना-पढ़ााना और सुनना सुनाना सब आर्यों का परम धर्म है ।
3. The Vedas are the scriptures of all the true knowledge. It is paramount duty of all Aryas to read them, teach them, recite them and hear them being read.
4. सत्य को ग्रहण करने और असत्य के छोड़ने में सर्वदा उद्यत रहना चाहिए ।
4. One should always be ready to accept truth and renounce untruth.
5. सब काम धर्मानुसार, अर्थात् सत्य और असत्य को विचार करके करने चाहिये ।
5. All acts should be performed in accordance with Dharm that is, after deliberating what is right and wrong.
6. संसार का उपकार करना इस समाज का मुख्य उद्देेश्य है, अर्थात् शारीरिक, आत्मि क और सामाजिक उन्नति करना ।
6. The prime object of Arya Samaj is to do good to the world, that is promote physical, spiritual and social good of everyone.
7. सबसे प्रीति पूर्वक धर्मानुसार, यथायोग्य वर्तना चाहिये ।
7. Our conduct towards all should be guided by love, righteousness and justice.
8. अविद्या का नाश और विद्या की वृद्धि करनी चाहिये ।
8. We should dispel “Avidya” ignorance and promote “Vidya” knowledge.
9. प्रत्येक को अपनी ही उन्नति से सन्तुष्ट न रहना चाहिये किन्तु सबकी उन्नति में अपनी उन्नति समझनी चाहिये ।
9. No one should be content with promoting his or her good only, on the contrary, one should look for his or her good in promoting the good of all.
10. सब मनुष्यों को सामाजिक, सर्वहितकारी नियम पालने में परतन्त्र रहना चाहिये और प्रत्येक हितकारी नियम में सब स्वतंत्र रहें ।
10. One should regard oneself under restriction to follow the rules of society calculated to promote the well being of all, while in following the rules of individual welfare all should be free.
Our Mission
Auckland Arya Samaj exists to promote, preserve, and propagate the eternal knowledge of the Vedas, as expounded by Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati, fostering a community grounded in truth, righteousness, and universal welfare.
We are committed to:

Our History in Auckland
Establishment
Auckland Arya Samaj Inc was established in 1996 by a group of dedicated community members who sought to preserve and promote Vedic principles in New Zealand. What began as a small gathering of like-minded individuals has grown into a vibrant community organization.
Our journey started with weekly Havans and cultural events, gradually expanding to include educational programs and community service initiatives.
Growth & Impact
Over the years, we have served thousands of community members through various religious, educational, and cultural activities. Our Sanskriti classes have helped children connect with their heritage, while our ceremonial services have created meaningful experiences for families.
Today, we continue to grow and adapt, always staying true to the core principles of Arya Samaj while serving the evolving needs of our community.
Meet Our Executives
Atiendra Kumar Lakhan
President
Leads the executive committee and represents the Arya Samaj in the community. Oversees all activities and ensures the organization stays true to its mission.
Lau Raj Kumar
Vice President
Supports the President in leadership duties and assumes presidential responsibilities when needed. Helps coordinate between different committee functions.
Sudhir Sen
Vice President - Projects
Oversees all community projects and initiatives. Manages project planning, execution, and ensures timely completion of all Arya Samaj activities and events.
